HISTORY
The forests of the Forest District Przytok until 1945 were mainly the private property. Most of the forests belonged to the country estates, and the rest to small property owners and to the city of Zielona Góra. In 1945, after taking forests over by Polish administration, the forests were nationalized.
In 1945, within the area of the current sub-district Przytok, there was created the following Forest District Dęby. Since 1948, it has been functioning as the Forest District Przytok. On 01.10.1972, as the result of forests districts fusion, the Forest District Przytok was included as the sub-district of the Forest District Zielona Góra.
The Forest Sub-District Otyń was functioning as independent forest district within the years 1949 – 1974. In 1974 it was included in newly created Forest District Nowa Sól.
The Minister for the Environment, Natural Resources and Forestry,on the basis of the Order No. 64 , dated on December 31, 1992, created 20 new forest districts, among others The Forest District Przytok with its headquarter in Zielona Góra in 24a Kazimierz WielkiStreet. The Forest District was created as the result of Sub-Districts Przytok and Otyń.
The forest District Przytok took up its duties on 1st January 1993.
At the time, when the Forest District przytok came into being, the Sub-District Przytok included the following Forest Rangers areas:Chynów, Dąbrowa, Drzonków, Kiełpin, Kisielin, Przytok, Wielobłota, but within Sub-District Otyń there were the Forest Rangers Areas: Bobrowniki, Czarna, Niedoradz, Racula, Zabór, Zatonie.
As the result of Organisational Restructuring ofthe National Forest Holding "State Forests" Units in 2004, the number of the Forest Rangers Areas of the Sub-district Przytok and division of the Sub-District Przytok into the Forest Rangers Areas (under the regulation No. 5/2004 of the District Forest Manager of the Forest District Przytok). After the restructuring, the Sub-District Przytok consisted of the following Forest Rangers Areas: Dąbrowa, Kiełpin, Kisielin, Przytok.The division of the Sub-District Otyń into the Forest Rangers Areas within the Sub-District Otyń were left unchanged.
Since January 1, 2011, there has been carried out a new division into the Forest Rangers Areas (under the regulation No. 13/2010 of the District Forest Manager of the Forest District Przytok , dated on August 9, 2010). There was set up the Forest Rangers Area Wielobłota within the Sub-District Przytok, but the Forest District Niedoradz within the Sub-District Otyń was liquidated. After new division, the Sub-District Przytok includes the following Forest Rangers Areas: Dąbrowa, Kiełpin, Kisielin, Przytok andWielobłota, however the Sub-District Otyń includes the following Forest Rangers Areas:Bobrowniki, Czarna, Racula, Zabór and Zatonie.
