Location
The Forest District Przytok was established on 1st January 1993, on the basis of the Order No. 64 of the Minister for the Environment, Natural Resources and Forestry dated on December 31, 1992.
History
The forests of the Forest District Przytok until 1945 were mainly the private property. Most of the forests belonged to the country estates, and the rest to small property owners and to the city of Zielona Góra. In 1945, after taking forests over by Polish administration, the forests were nationalized.

Cooperation
Przytok Forest District co-operates with Landratsamt Bautzen Kreisforstamt (County Forest Office) from Saxony (Germany). The headquarter of the project partner Landsratsamt Bautzen Kreisforstamt is located in Kamenz. Further information can be found here.
